Today was fun, starting off with great weather, the neutrals turned up to watch, well Clevestone Transport, The Mowbray and Ian Mclean... starting with inner squad arguments and Ste McConnell not gurning, the Pot House got things underway very quickly, scoring two successive goals, both as nice as the other. Without praising our opposition much more, our two goals before half-time were lovely, Paul Harvey putting a cheeky through ball to new signing and new number 10, Lee Turner, who with the loveliest of touches, dinks it perfectly over the keeper, lobbing him. Not long after we got a corner, Lee getting involved again, placing a perfect cross into the path and head of Ryan Sanderson, or as literally everyone knows him, Lugzy, heading the ball strongly into the back of the net. Half Time, 4-2 Pot House. Second half kicking off the same way the first did with goals, substitute, Ben Relton, worked his way into the box, and won a penalty, which in possibly the worst way, finished into the bottom corner, before we conceded again for the full time score to come in at 7-3. Pot House have improved massively since we drew against them at home, becoming the only team in all 3 Hartlepool leagues to beat Old Boys, and we still got a result that no one expected... Shoutouts go out to Jack Mclean, for being a big baby, but again showing that when he plays well, hes very important to the team. Also a big shout out to some of our players, like Jonboy, Calvin and Dom, who have showed class by improving massively since the beginning of the season, and lastly a massive shout out to the three newest Nursery Inn FC goalscorers, Lee Turner on his debut, Lugzy on a great performance and Ben Relton, on finally getting his goal with the penalty. THREE MASSIVE GAMES COMING!!! ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!
