Today's game was tough, Clevestone preferring to try fight most our players rather than give us an actual good game. The game started off well, with Aiden Lamb scoring around the 20th minute, dribbling from the left wing cutting outside the last defender, dropping his shoulder and putting it far post. 3 minutes later, captain, Kenny Foreman, on his return from suspension, whips in a corner and who else other than Jack "Budgie" Mclean on back post to nod it in. Jack's performance dropped due to the weight of his head throughout the rest of the game, after being made believe there was a scout in our presence, idiot. 2-0 up the boys conceded on the stroke of half-time to come in at 2-1. Starting the second half strong, we conceded an well hit half volley and an absolutely astounding freekick, shout out to Josh Buckley for that. 3-2 the boys got had a strong finish managing to get the equaliser as Taylor Liston beat his man and squared it to the H'pool Messi himself, Aiden Lamb. Too many arguments on the pitch made it a messy game today but we've at least came away with a point and we are off bottom. Break now till January 8th, so we will try keep you entertained in the meantime but till then ONWARDS AND UPWARDS BOYS!! #NIFC
