It's everyone's favourite time of the week! We knew that today would be a hard game, with today's opponents previously beating us in the league 10-1, we went in the match this morning wanting a better result, after a strong defensive performance in the first half, the whistle blew at the interval with the score being 0-0. The second half started and within two minutes we had conceded the first goal of the game. The game went on and not much was happening, strong defending from both teams stopping most chances, with 5 minutes to go, super sub again, Taylor Liston, who's head is already getting massive, runs onto a throw in from the Hartlepudlian Messi, Aiden Lamb, runs into the box and slots it past the keeper, 1-1, Pandemonium. Then with two minutes to play, like Stevie G, we asked not to let it slip, and we let it slip. 2-1 to Owton Manor at the death. Got to be proud of the boys for nearly getting a result of the team now top of the table, considering we've gone from conceding 10+ a game to solid performances all round in short time, thanks Owton Manor for a fun game for the spectators, the ref, Matty Guffick and again as always, ONWARDS AND UPWARDS BOYS!
